Multifamily Properties
Huntley Equities currently owns and operates hundreds of multifamily buildings in Southern California. Most of our properties are in the Los Angeles area. We buy both rent controlled, and non-rent-controlled assets. We generally buy multifamily properties in the 5 – 30-unit range, but in many instances, we will consider other property sizes as well. The “buy and hold” strategy allows us to purchase properties with “lower rents” even if the property is subject to the city’s rent stabilization ordinance. Our long-term outlook allows us to usually pay a premium even if the property’s income is on the lower end.
